Our Approach

Through careful land management, sustainable practices and the support of passionate local people, we’ve made significant progress toward our long-term goals of regenerating the land and removing invasive species. Importantly, we are maintaining all current vegetation as part of this project.

Cultural consultation

The Moses Rock project is being shaped through ongoing consultation with the Wadandi people, Traditional Owners of the land and waters around Moses Rock.

Collaborating with the Wadandi people through the Undalup Association, we are dedicated to ensuring the project embodies our shared commitment to caring for Country, inviting all to connect with the culture, spirit, and heritage of this land.

Regeneration in progress

With careful management and input from locals who know the land, our regeneration efforts are making good progress.

The 2024 drought in the South West hit us hard, especially around the granite outcrop, where we lost a lot of native vegetation.

Now, we’re focused on bringing the land back to life. We’ve put up fencing, added irrigation, and are reviving old banksia trees while planting native seedlings grown from seeds collected right here. Our livestock also play a role, helping to keep the soil healthy and manage invasive species naturally.

Our goal is simple: a healthy, thriving landscape where native plants and wildlife can return and flourish.
